By using ayyat, you agree to the following terms.

The app

ayyat is an iOS app that helps non-Arabic speakers learn Quranic Arabic through progressive word substitution. Quran text, translations, and audio are provided by the Quran Foundation Content API under their own terms of service.

Use of Quran content

The Quran text, translations, and audio displayed in ayyat are copyrighted by their respective providers. You may use them for personal learning. Redistribution of these resources requires permission from the rights holders. See api-docs.quran.foundation for licensing terms.

Your account

Sign-in is provided by Quran Foundation (OAuth2 / OIDC). You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. ayyat does not store your password — only short-lived access tokens in the iOS Keychain.

Disclaimer

ayyat is a learning tool, not a substitute for study with qualified scholars. Quranic translations are interpretive and may not capture the full meaning of the original Arabic. For matters of religious practice, consult qualified scholars.

Liability

ayyat is provided as-is, without warranty. The developer is not liable for damages arising from use of the app.

Changes

These terms may change. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
